For the Love of Orchids

Over 1000 orchids are expected to be on display.  Orchid societies from Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware, along with 3 commercial orchid vendors will set up displays showing off their best plants, and competing for ribbons and trophies, as well as for national awards by the American Orchid Society (AOS).  Several orchids displayed at previous SOS shows have received national recognition.

The Susquehanna Orchid Society (SOS) announces For the Love of Orchids, its 33rd Annual Orchid Show and Sale, to be held on February 3, 4 and 5, 2017 at the Hershey Gardens Conservatory in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Orchid society members and the commercial vendors will spend all day February 2nd transforming the Hershey Conservatory into an orchid oasis.  On Friday morning, February 3rd, a team of AOS judges will award show ribbons and trophies to the best of the best on display at the show.  At noon on Friday, the show will open to the public.  The orchids will remain on public display Friday, Saturday and Sunday during regular conservatory hours.  An incredible variety of orchids will also be available for purchase.
